As a general UK guide, a fully fitted combi boiler typically falls between roughly £1,800 and £3,500, while system and regular boiler installations often range from around £2,200 to £4,500. The final figure depends on the boiler you choose, your property and how much pipework or flue work is needed. We provide a free, fixed written quote so you know the exact price before any work starts. See our boiler installation costs guide.
Yes. All gas work we arrange is carried out by Gas Safe registered engineers. In the UK it is a legal requirement for anyone working on gas appliances to be on the Gas Safe Register, and only a registered engineer can legally install and commission a gas boiler.
A straightforward like-for-like combi swap is often completed in a day. Moving the boiler to a new location, converting between boiler types, or a full system upgrade can take two to three days. We’ll give you a realistic timescale with your quote.
It depends on your hot-water demand, number of bathrooms, water pressure and available space. Combi boilers suit smaller homes, system boilers suit busier households, and regular boilers suit traditional high-demand systems. We’ll recommend the right option after understanding your needs, read our boiler comparison guide.

Boiler Plus is the minimum standard for domestic boiler installations in England, introduced in 2018. New gas boilers must have a seasonal efficiency of at least 92% (ErP) and include time and temperature controls. Combi boilers must also include one additional efficiency measure such as weather compensation, load compensation, flue gas heat recovery or smart controls. We install to these standards as a matter of course.
Yes. We disconnect and remove your old boiler safely and responsibly, and tidy up before we leave.
We recommend an annual service to keep your boiler running safely and efficiently, and to maintain most manufacturer warranties. See our servicing and repairs page.
